Not to count Dave unexpectedly found apple juice in his wardrobe. I’m pretty sure Bro never let him starve and always flashstepped some food into his lil’ bro’s secret food storage.
Also, the only room with a bed we ever see in the house is Dave’s. What does it mean? Bro gave Dave his own bedroom and now sleeps on the futon; Bro’s “bedroom” is actually their living room.
He may be a bit nuts, but Bro isn’t a completely bad parent. He genuinely cares for Dave, even if his way of showing it is entirely bananas.
